Summary:Letter to the Prince of Wales from the Duke of Leinster, 8th August 1865, telling the Prince that he has sent him an embroidered flannel dress for a young baby from a Mrs. Fanny Switzer. Prince George of Wales (later George V) was born on 3rd June 1865.


Letter from the Prince of Wales, 10th August 1865, saying that as a general rule they are not allowed to accept gifts from people they don't know but since Mrs. Fanny Switzer is a personal friend of the Duke, they will make an exception. He asks the Duke to thank Mrs. Switzer on behalf of his wife, Princess Alexandra.
