First letter dated 23rd April 1829, asks about a meeting to be chaired by the Duke on 2nd May in London, apparently in support of another (unnamed) Duke, which Moore wishes to attend, and asks about a rumoured charge of date. Also a mention of Moore's "Life of Byron" on which he is currently engaged. MS 41,767 /1
Second letter dated 26 April 1829, concerns the same meeting, and offers to propose or second resolutions. MS 41,767 /2
Third letter dated 20 January 1831, refers to a work about Lord Edward Fitzgerald on which moore is now engaged and answers concerns on the part of Lady Campbell (Lord Edward's daughter) and the Duke himself. MS 41,767 /3
