Summary: | Regarding news of sales of military goods. John Meadell and E. Fennell had furnished Richard Thomas Murray of Limerick with approximately £4000 worth of military goods sent the previous January on the "Henderson" to the Birminghams; "the ill success which attended this gentleman's Peninsular speculations we are sorry to say has caused him to suspend his payments ... he appears not a all informed relative to the state of affairs under your management", so they seek news of the sales. |
