Evans, Camp Commandant, Prisoners Camp, July/Aug 1900, requesting permission to take out prisoners to collect grass for bedding etc.; an envelope from a Private in the Connaught Rangers, Pretoria, Transvaal, addressed to his wife in Victoria Barracks, Athlone; an envelope marked Z.A. Republick, possibily a prisoners envelope (original contents not present); a corrected galley proof of a ballad poem, "With James to Krugersdorp", with inscription signed 'Ed.S.R.' and dated 6th February 1896; 3 press cuttings and a print showing the arms of the Canadian Contingent regiment.
