Letter expresses the author's admiration after reading an article "She took a day off" in the Irish Press about Nellie Bushell's involvement in the Easter Rising 1916. He mentions that he like Nellie Bushell was one of the garrison in Jacob's Factory on April 24th - 29th, 1916. He askes her if she could use her influence to get a job for his sons as he is out of work.
