| Summary: | Inscription on verso of front page "Joseph Senan Considine No.583 : Hut 14 : "C" Company, Ballykinlar and 17 Grove Park, Rathmines, Dublin". Includes poems, news cuttings and messages, with signatures including Joe McGrath, Peadar O Cearnaigh (with a verse from the Soldier's Song), Denis McCullough, Leo Henderson, Finian O Loingsigh (Lynch), Sean Milroy, Michael Nugent etc. Also several good quality watercolour drawings including careful renderings of a hut interior, exterior of camp, landscape view from camp, etc. Also contains full list of prisoners in Hut 14, and a number of original poems composed at Ballykinlar by Joseph Considine. |
