| Summary: | Four ruled notebooks of the Dublin French Society that was founded on the 8th December 1922 to promote French language and culture. The initial committee comprised academics (Sir Robert Tate) and writers (Walter Starkie), both of whom wrote and signed the minutes. Other prominent committee members included Owen Sheehy Skeffington, Lord Moyne and Olive Purser. The society's quarterly programme of events has been pasted into the relevant sections. In the committee minutes for October 1931, note that W.B. Yeats, 42 Fitzwilliam Square, was elected a member.
