Panorama, Leicester-Square, (by Royal Patent) is open every day (Sundays excepted) from ten till seven - Admittance One Shilling.
The present subject is a view of the Grand Fleet, moored at Spithead, being the Russian Armament in 1791, taken from the Centre, together with Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight, and entire surrounding objects /
The painting, by Mr. Barker, contains above ten thousand square feet, and every object appears as large as reality, by effect of the pencil only.
Key to the panorama of the Grand Russian Fleet at Spithead, the first panorama exhibited by Robert Barker at his purpose built premises in Leicester Square, London, in 1793. Key shows names and position of ships in the fleet.
