Summary: | Title inscribed in pencil on verso. Scene from 'Full Measure' [A Play in Two Acts] by Kathleen M. O'Brennan, [a sister-in-law of the executed 1916 signatory Éamon Ceannt], which was first performed in the Abbey Theatre on 27 August 1928. Illustration features the scene set in Nora Murtagh's kitchen, west Kerry, featuring Sarah Allgood as 'Norah Murtagh' carrying turf, Eileen Crowe as 'Peggy Murtagh', who is depicted leaning against a table and Michael Scott as 'Maurice O'Grady', the tall gentleman standing to her left.
