Waiting for the "Ring Up"
[graphic] : Mr. W.E.G. (Stage Manager of the Westminister Burlesque Company, seeing that all his characters are ready for the opening night) - I don't think any of you, with the exception of H.R.H. the Duke, knows or takes the least interest in your parts, and the end will surely be a breakdown. Here, Coercion! You are on early in the first scene. I have great hopes of your "going" well. Coercion - Oh! sir; please sir, don't put me on just now. I was a dead failure in Dublin, and I see a lot of the "boys" in the House, and they will be sure to hiss me off. Can't you wait till the French - woman's business is over?
