The "Brutish" Press
[graphic]: The three friends were walking along the highroad of Civilization, when they came to a river of Blood, in the centre of which sat a brutal monster who yelled and hissed for more blood. The two eldest of the friends inquired what the monster was, and what he wanted more blood for, seeing that he was surrounded by it already. The youngest of the group explained that the hateful thing was the Genius of Lies, and that it was for her blood it bellowed: that it had thwarted her progress for centuries, and its savage hatred of her was the chief cause of her many woes - An Old Story.
