(Mayor of Belfast to Royal Commissioners, who have just arrived from Dublin.)-"Gentlemen, I fear you have come to an inopportune moment, for you see the lads are engaged rivetting the attention of the Police, and there is no one likely to bother about you - Could you not say another day later on?" / Royal Commissioners.-"Certainly, we shall wait the convenience of the lads, and when they are quite ready we will attend." (Commissioners bolt back to Dublin).
