Civilization ; Barbarism.
Includes portraits of William E. Gladstone and Lord Salisbury. The portrait of Gladstone is topped with the Phrygian cap [here it has the word "Liberty" on it]; he is surrounded by sprigs of shamrock and underneath him is written the word "Civilisation". Gladstone is holding a sheet of paper, that has the words "Home Rule" on it. Salisbury [in purple cloak trimmed with ermine], is offering "Emigration" and "20 years of Coercion". His portrait is surrounded by chains and his image is topped with a black cap [that says "Black Cap"]; underneath him is the word "Barbarism".
