Wide awake!

The "Irish Party," with "that brutal cunning characteristic of them" have of late thought it well to observe silence in public matters - The Stupid Party and thier allies, have, of course, mistaken this silence for sleep, and act accordingly. Burglar Randy [Randolph Henry Spencer Churchill].-"Hush! he's sleeping. Now's our time, see It almost in his pocket, let's steal it and away!" / Polisman [sic, Policeman] (peeping in).-"Tut, tut, tut. What's all these goin's on about, at all-all-all? - And there's Holmes that ought to know better, mixin' himself up with those two troublesome chaps. - I must give him a touch of this." / Irish Party.-"I'll show you, my lads, whether I'm sleeping or not.".
