No sooner do a handful of scotch Crofters show that they are determined not to be evicted from their holdings, than the Home Secretary, as the Genius of peace and Conciliation, olive branch in hand, hastens to assure them of his sympathy and assistance.
Pat does not forget that when he was seeking to protect his little home in Connemara that this same statesman (?) urged the Government to pass Savage Coercion Acts and to drive the Irish People into exile - Pat however congragulates his Scotch friends on the success of their Rebellious Agitation.
