The Irish malady - Two recipes
Castle physician-My plan is the only sure one. The patient has too much blood in her. We must drain off a little to another country. Emigration is the only cure. Those who won't go but want work must go into the workhouse.
Dr. Lyons-Your treatment is unwise and unphilanthropic. The patient's only want is wholesome employment for body and mind. Root him in the soil and let him root trees there too. The results will be splendid for him and for you.
