How Irish business is got through in Parliament (when it is a "Protection" (!) Bill.)
The "Times" of Saturday Morning Feb. 19th, remarked - Considerable progress was made in comittee on the Protection Bill last night. Some amendments were disposed of with unusual despatch ; while a large number were extinguished by the chairman, who ruled that they were inadmissible according to the rules of the house.
