| Notes: | Edited and for the most part written by Edward Ledwich. The preface is dated 1794. The titlepages are engraved and that to vol.2 is dated 1795 and bears the imprint: printed for M. Hooper. Not a reissue of the 1791-94 edition but an almost line for line resetting. Without colophons. P.xix of 'Military antiquities of Ireland' vol 1 correctly numbered and is signed D2. Vol. 2, "Printed for M. Hooper". Grose's name does not apperar on t.-p. of v. 2. After the death of Grose, who had "written and printed but seven pages of descriptions", the work was completed by Edward Ledwich. cf. Pref. La. paper. Library has: Vol. I-II.
