Vols. 1-3, 11-20 contain titlepages for the individual works within. The general titlepage and individual titlepages in vols. 1, 4-10, 18-20 are dated 1749; the individual titlepages in vols. 2, 3, 11-17 are dated 1748. Vols. 4-6 are continuously paginated. The date on the general titlepage reads: "M.DCC.XLIX.". In a variant the date on the general titlepage reads: "M DCC XLIX."; the second book of the 'In Verrem' is transferred from vol. 5 to vol. 4, so that vol. 4 ends on p. 473 instead of p. 346, with a reimpression of sigs. P and 2I of the register in vols. 4-6, and the resetting of the general contents leaves; the contents are followed by two advertisement leaves.
