Circumated in manuscript during the late seventeenth century as 'Foras feasa ar Éirinn'.
It was subsequently translated into English by Dermot O'Connor, and published for the first time in 1723 under the title, 'A general history of Ireland'.

In two parts, the second having separate pagination and register.
The last seven leaves contain genealogies.
