| Notes: | Consists of 'An essay on the proportions of Eclipse', 'Lectures on the elements of farriery' and 'The posthumous works of Charles Vial de Sainbel', each with separate titlepage, register and pagination. The 'Lectures on farriery' is probably a reissue of the 1793 edition (with some plates dated 1795); in this issue the text of the roman pagination has been reset, and p.vii indicates that the horse shoes and model hoofs were not supplied with this issue. This issue has a final advertisement leaf. The account of Sainbel's life is probably by Granville Penn. The parts have sep. tpp. That of the "Elements of farriery" is dated 1793.
