Vol. 2 is in two parts, the second having a separate titlepage, pagination and register.
A reissue of the 1739-46 edition with new preliminaries (DNB).
Vol. I. has not the second t.-p. : "The history and antiquities of Ireland" mentioned in Lowndes. It has another issue of the preface by Harris. The latin and english dedications by Parry are wanting. The leaf "Of the antient disposition of the Bishopricks of Ireland" in headed "Chap. XXXIX". It is repeated in its place in vol. II. Vol. II. wants the second t.-p. The "Additions to the Writers" and "Corrections" are not pasted in. The plate with map of Ireland inset at p. 37 is not there, and the map there is the same as that at p. 24 of Ware's work "Antiquities and history". The port. in Vol. II. is wanting.
Another copy of Vol. I. the History of the Bishops (1739) interleaved with numerous manuscript notes and additions.
