The generall remonstrance or declaration of the Catholikes of Ireland [dated Oct. 23, 1641] :
received of George Wentworth, 28. Decemb. [December]1641. who received it from the rebels when he was prisoner with them.
Broadside concerning Sir George Wentworth (1599-1660) who fought for the Royalist army in the English Civil War and raised a regiment for the King Charles I at his own expense. He sat in the House of Commons from 1640 to 1642; as an elected Member of Parliament for Pontefract in the Short Parliament (April 1640); re-elected as Member of Parliament for Pontefract for the Long Parliament in November 1640 but disabled from sitting in parliament in September 1642 having joined the Royalists.
