Summary: | Topographical and domestic scenes sketched by Jeanie Conan on her journey from Dublin to Gibraltar, Genoa, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Naples, Pompeii, Athens, Megara and Daphe, in October 1888. This album is one of set of four, one of which is inscribed "This book was bought on the Dublin Quays by a gentleman who gave it to my late husband, Joseph F Conan some time about 1935. I have now given it to Aileen to keep on this day 31st May, 1971. May Conan". Aileen Conan died in 1985 and the album passed to her nephew Gerald Conan Kennedy.
