Head and shoulders, turned and looking to left, side whiskers Inscribed in ink on mount: "To my friend Jas. [James] Stan Dillon as a token of the various deep obligations I have been under to him during my imprisonment here. Terence Bellew McManus. Richmond Prison. Decr. 16/48 [December 16, 1848]". With facsimile of his autograph and words "Clommel Dock" Oct 11/48 printed on mount. |
