Summary:Hester Catherine Browne, née De Burgh, Marchioness of Sligo, (d. 1878), wife of Howe P. Browne, 2nd Marquess of Sligo and daughter of the 18th Earl of Clanricarde : Three-quarter-length, to left, seated, head turned slightly and looking to right, in evening dress, with long chain of pearls, bracelets, right arm resting on arm of chair, coronet and ornamental vase at side to left.
