Group of six figures, four in black robes, one man carries another on his back. W. B. Yeats' play "The Cat and The Moon", A Play in One Act was first produced in the Abbey Theatre on 21 September 1931 with Michael J. Dolan in the role of the Blind Man and W. O'Gorman as the Lame Man - the play concerns two beggars, one blind, one lame, who are told of a place where they may find a mythical saint to cure them.
