Scenes from the Rebellion of 1848 showing the gun battle between a party of policemen who occupied Widow McCormack's House, at Farrenrory Upper, Ballingarry, County Tipperary, and a group of local miners and farmers lead by William Smith O'Brien's failure to capture this house marked the end of the rebellion.
