Summary:Sketches in a variety of media, including pencil and caryon on blue sketching paper, sepia pen and wash and watercolours. Originally part of a volume but detached. The sketches are mainly of Manorhamilton, County Leitrim, Blacklion, County Cavan, Dunluce Castle, Carrickfergus, and the High Cross at Kells. They also include figures and cabins. All the sketches are signed or initialled by the artist and many are dated.

Credits:Attributed to Reverend David Frederick Markham, (1800-1853), Canon of Windsor, Vicar of Stillingfleet, Yorks (1824-1838), and guest Rector of Great Horkesley, (1838-1853). His grandfather was The Most Rev. William Markham, (1719-1807), Archbishop of York, born at Kinsale, County Cork.
