Summary:View of the obelisk which stands in Obelisk Park, Stillorgan, County Dublin. It was erected by the second Lord Allen in 1727 and is reported to have been designed by Sir Edward Lovett Pearce. The obelisk is 100 feet high of cut granite on a rustic base of huge uncut rocks containing a large vaulted chamber.
