This beautiful spot is 8 miles west of the City of Dublin, through which glides the River Liffey; the view is taken from the Bridge : to the left on a rising ground is seen Leixlip Castle, and on the right, part of the Town and Church, about a mile above this is the celebrated Salmon Leap. /
