[between 1798 and 1834?].
Accompanied by a piece of text inscribed in blue ink: "Whose hath seen, will own that nothing can surpass the charger, but the man".
Inscribed in pencil on verso: "A caricature of Coleridge in the Militia?". This is probably a caricature of Samuel Coleridge, (1772-1834), who refused to join the militia in 1798 and did not support William Pitt's handling of the Irish rebellion of 1798.
