Pages 27 and 30 of The Pilot, November 7, 1885 are on the verso of this sheet. On page 27 is a column entitled ‘Steer for National Independence’ [which is written on a blackboard] and a second headed ‘Veiled Rebellion’. Page 30 features similar, satirical material with a column entitled ‘The Cabin Boy’s Log. Kept by the 'Boy' hiimself' [that has references to the administration in Dublin Castle and the Lord Lieutenant]; ‘Election lyrics’; a small cartoon featuring the Viceroy with some lines of verse underneath the cartoon.
