Summary: | Erin and Britannia greet each other. Britannia is seated with garland of roses around her neck, a laurel wreath on her head, holding a trident in her left hand, a shield bearing the Union Jack leans against her. A lion sits at her feet. Erin is standing, wearing armour and helmet, holding spear in her left hand. Beside Erin is a pedestal on which the Irish Harp is carved. On top of this pedestal is a crown and sceptre and a document (probably refering to the Act of Union signed in 1800). Behind Britannia is a pedestal on which the bust of George III rests. The profile of William Pitt, prime minister of England is carved on side of pedestal.
