Credits: | Attributed to Daniel Maclise, (1806-1870), who contributed character sketches of contemporaries for Fraser's Magazine under the pseudonym Alfred Croquis. The sketches were later published as "The Maclise Portrait Gallery" (1871). The sketches were published again in 1874 and 1883. |
