Staggering Bob "on his last legs"

Daniel O'Connell, M.P., (1775-1847), holding a leash for a calf with the face of Prime Minister Sir Robert Peel, (1788-1850), while another calf, with the face of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, (1769-1852), lies knifed by Emancipation. A 'staggering Bob' was a veal calf ready for slaughter.
