First five leaves consist of a dedicatory leaf (signed Joseph Moore. Lieut. of His Majesty's 89th regt.), a list of English subscribers (both after designs by Stothard), and three leaves of Indian subscribers.
"Plate 16 exists in 2 states, in First Issue word adjacent spelt ajacent. This is corrected in Second Issue. Some copies have a plan in addition to the plates, and there are likewise 3 leaves of Indian subscribers, but copies are complete without them. Two volumes of text were issued one to the above and one to the following work, but they rarely are present. The following 6 plates by Capts. Marryat & Thornton are sometimes to be found bound up with Moore's Views ..." Tooley, English books with coloured plates, p. 271.
