This Cross stands inside Earl of Courtowns Demesne Wall near the [cross] roads at the Bridge over the Ounavarra River.
It is evidently an ancient cross but was [unnoticed?] by O'Donovan in the Wexford Letters - where he states that there are no Antiquities in the neighbourhood. The cross is formed of one slab of [...] rock locally known as "Banoge Stone".
