They were probably acquired from Robert Hickey of Hyde Park, a friend of Mrs. Moore's mother who was interested in archaeology. The papers were found among papers acquired by Mrs. Moore, Vessington Lodge, Clifton, Athboy, County Meath, Ireland. Collection of papers relating to the family of Vandeleur, Co.
