Album quarter bound with shagreen textured blue cloth cover with dark green leather spine. Book block ivory covered machine made paper. It consists of 70 pages, 14 of which are illustrated and 47 are blank. The first 16 pages of this sketchbook are cut out including page 53/54 and page 57/58.

From the papers of Reverend William Falkiner, antiquarian, County Westmeath, Ireland. They were acquired by Robert Hickey of Hyde Park. Hickey was a friend of Mrs. Moore's mother who was also interested in archaeology.
