Summary: | A caricature featuring crowds of people at Donnybrook Fair, County Dublin, depicted wandering around the tents of vendors, some of which have banners advertising their wares - "Doyels [sic, Doyle's?] Old Grinding Young Harolds X" [a reference to Harold's Cross, Dublin]. One of the flags in the right background is that of the United States of America while a green flag with a harp and the words "Erin Go Bra" [sic, "Erin go Bragh" or "Éirinn go Brách", which translates from Irish as "Ireland Forever"] is seen in the middle distance. |
