Notes: | Title inscribed in ink l.l. on image. C.W. Cole was sent to Limerick to cover the Land League Demonstration there which was to coincide with Charles Stewart Parnell being offered the Freedom of the city. Parnell arrived in Limerick on 1st November 1880 and attended the demonstration and the following day received the Freedom of the city. Published as a wood engraving, in slightly altered form, in The Graphic, November 13th 1880, under the title "The agitation in Ireland - The Land League Demonstration at Limerick", page 476.
