The Home Rule crisis was a political crisis that followed the introduction of the Third Home Rule Bill in the House of Commons on 11 April 1912; on 28 September 1912, over 500,000 Unionists signed the Ulster Covenant pledging to prevent any measure of home rule for Ireland.
