Research by our Flickr Commons users established that the station house was designed by William Murray (1822-1871), architect to the Dundalk, Enniskillen & Londonderry Railway Company. Lisbellaw train station closed on 1 October 1958. The railway line was paved over to build the A4 road. Nothing remains of this station.
