YL 2320 is inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper: "Lionel Johnson / from his friend / W B Yeats / Dec / 93." Below this is the bookplate of Archibald G. B. Russell and inscribed above "W. B. Yeats / from his friend / Archie Russell / 24 May 1909." This copy was apparently presented to Lionel Johnson by Yeats and then returned by Archie Russell some years later.
