From t.p.: This work is altogether strange, curious, and interesting. The lights of the subject are evident, and proofs abundant. The antiquities of Egypt, Persia, and India have been investigated, and ancient and modern writers consulted. The enigmas of paganism explained, and sacred passages expounded. No less than the brother of a renowned king of Egypt has been the founder of the round towers of Ireland, some of which are now standing 3,341 years.
