The statement of limitation, found on p. [2] in some copies, is known to exist in at least two states. In one state the first line ends "been"; in the other, this line ends "printed,".

Page 175 is known to exist in at least three states. In two states the tailpiece is the same as that found on p. 50, 62, 85, etc. One of these states is without colophon; the other has: Printed by the Century Printing Company ... London, E.C. A third state, without colophon, has a starfish-like tailpiece.
