Castle Lough, Killarney
The old fortress of Castle Lough is situated on a rock at the head of the bay of Castle Lough Bay, Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. It was destroyed in the wars of the Commonwealth, and a few vestiges of it now remain. In this drawing a man approaches this rock carrying a rod or oar on his shoulder. A flag flies from a mast on the rock. There are boats on the water to the right of the drawing.
