Summary: | Handbill issued by Sinn Féin listing eleven countries that "have secured independence" in the immediate aftermath of World War One - Alsace, Courland, "Esthonia" [Estonia], Finland, Hungary, "Czecho-Slovakia", "Jugo-Slaves" [Yugoslavia], Livonia [now part of Latvia and Estonia], Poland, Lithuanua and the Ukraine. On the botton left of the handbill is featured a space with a question mark [Ireland] with the words underneath "There is one nation- larger than many and older than most of those named - which has not been assured of absolute indepdence because it's people have not yet definitely asked for full freedom. Will You Ask NOW?" |
