Rough Sketches South Ireland
Black leather bound album with leather spine and corners, with gold inlays and lettering. Endpieces are white hardboard. 40 pages with 38 illustrations. Majority of illustrations are set in County Kerry, Ireland, with the rest set in County Cork, Dun Laoghaire, the Aran Islands, County Tyrone and County Meath, Ireland. The majority of the drawings were executed between 1861 and 1862. The earliest date found in this sketchbook is 1852.
